Tasting Notes

The grapes for this Merlot came from two Vallecito vineyards; 6-mile vineyard as well as a small portion from our Tyee Vineyard. Dark red in color, nose smells like forest floor and rose petals. Cherries, currants and French oak round out a very nice tasting Merlot. Merlot may not be our customer’s favorite, but we make it because it’s consistently a really nice wine.
